Applying to the ICF for your credential – ACC Level 1 path.
You are here because you have completed the ICF Credential Survey (previous lesson) and are ready to fill in the formal ICF Application.
Be sure to have your Coaching Education Transcript AND your Level 1 Completion Certificate with you for this application process.
You will have received this file with or around the same time you were notified about your PASS status of your performance evaluation.
- Where it asks to “Upload Certificate:”, use the “Certificate of Completion” sent to you by us. It is likely in the same email as your PASS performance evaluation notification.
- Where is asks for “Number of Hours:”, check your transcript, under “coach-specific-education hours”. You are likely able to claim 116.9 hours.
This will be the type of screen that is given to you by the ICF website, once you complete your initial survey.
- Click on the item to complete is the Education section below.
- Select Enter Education hours
A series of pop-up screens will ask you for information.
- Training Organization Name: Coaching Out Of The Box
- Program Name: Coach Approach to Leadership Series
- Number of Hours: 116.9 (Use the value stated on your student transcript)
- Program Start Date: Enter the date of YOUR first 5.5.5 Class (Use the value stated on your student transcript)
- Does this training represent the start of your coach specific training … YES
- Upload Certificate: Upload your Level 1 certificate. (This is the one you received from us when you read you PASSED to performance evaluation stage. We will have sent you a prior one when you graduated the FAST Education part of your FAST TRACK
- Click on the item to complete is the Education section below.
4. You will return to the application dashboard with a Pending Review Status – this is a good thing.
5. Next up, from the dashboard select: Client Coaching Experience.
6. Here you will ask to attest to a variety of requirements. Answer each one according. At the bottom you will asked to type your name to attest to the number of coach experience hours you have documented. Be accurate here. Be ready to back up your claims should during any part of the application review you
7. Back to your application dashboard.
- Take a look into the EXAM tab of your application.
- Read the information they provide (it may be different than our image below).
- Head down to the bottom right and click on Enter Exam Information.
- What you type on the next page here MUST be identical you’re your government issued ID. Passport, or drivers licence, etc.
8. The EXAM section is where you will return to complete this section once you have completed the ICF Credentialing Exam. Note: Not to be confused with the Coaching out of The Box ICF Credentialing Exam prep class. This is different.
9. OK, you should be ready now. Check to make sure all fields are correct. When you are fully satisfied click on the blue button to Submit Application
10. Well done. You will be guided through the payment process, and we wait.In terms of this course however … You are DONE!!
