Step1: What the Coachee wants to accomplish and address

  • This is step one. Here we are identifying what the coachee wants to accomplish overall AND within this current conversation.

Step 2: Deepen understanding of goals, options and desired outcomes

  • This is step two. Here we are deepening the COACHEE’s understanding of their goals, options and desired outcomes.

Step 3: Action Plan to bridge from today to future goal

  • This is step three. Here we facilitate the coachee to strategize and develop their action plan to move forward and take action.

Step 4: Address obstacles to the action plan

  • Step four means clearing resistance and obstacles that might get in the way of the action plan.
  • What is a good Step Four question?

Step 5: Cement clarity for forward action

  • The recap is also an anchoring of what has been explored, learned and committed to.
  • The recap is done by the Coachee.
