Shift your point of view to COME FROM that place rather than trying to GET TO that place. For example, let’s say the person you choose to be is self-confident. In the old DO/ HAVE/BE model we would try BEING self-confident by DOING things like reading self-help books and taking assertiveness classes. Instead, in the BE/DO/HAVE model we can shift our point of view and preface each choice we make within our experiences with the question, “What would a self-confident person “be” like in this experience? What would they do? What would they say?” And then take actions or DO accordingly. By first choosing the person we want to BE it then becomes pretty evident of the things we need to DO in order to BE that person. The things we HAVE are a result of BEING that person and taking actions that support it. This we call the BE/DO/HAVE model, and it is by far the best blueprint to living as your most authentic and best self. DO HAVE DO more to HAVE certain things HAVE more to BE somebody. BE
