Getting the job done while being in relationship with others is challenging and I think it takes courage, patience and, genuine curiosity about our humanity to successfully navigate our work environments and live whole-heartedly.
As a coach, I support others who are consciously deepening their own self- awareness and are interested in how they show up as a leader. I believe that knowledge is important to leadership development and it is only through reflection and action – doing something different with intention that helps an individual realize their full potential and achieve results.
My own learning and leadership journey includes a business degree, professional qualifications to deliver MBTI, change management, Power and Systems and Clear Leadership, as well as other professional development in the field of Organization Development and executive coaching. I hold a Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) designation and am also an instructor in the Leadership Development Certificate Program at Camosun College in Victoria, BC. Canada. I’ve worked in a variety of roles in the fields of human resources and organization development and, have line management experience.
One of my favorite quotes comes from a poem by Mary Oliver – “And what will you do with your one wild and precious life?”
