I am passionate about coaching and the difference it can make in transforming people’s lives. I have seen it deliver dramatic results in long term performance excellence, heightened self awareness to increase potential and remove barriers, and greater personal fulfillment. It is these impressive outcomes that inspired me to shift to coaching. It transformed my life.
My background is a a senior officer withteh Royal Canadian Navy, an executive with the provincial government, and as a senior leader with Elections Canada. Academic and professional qualifications include an MBA from Memorial University, Canadian Forces Staff College diploma, Certified Executive Coach, CHRP, Change Management (Prosci ADKAR), and certificates in Coaching Out of the Box Train the Trainer 5/5/5 program, group coaching, and facilitation. I am a member of the International Coach Federation.
Outside my work, community contribution and engagement has always been an important value to me in giving back. I enjoy astronomy, old maps, and my hobby is picture framing.
The diverse span of career and community, in Canada and abroad, has provided insight and experience in my evolution as a seasoned leader; understanding bottom lines, acknowledging the drive and talent of teams, appreciating the power of engagement, and in creating fulfillment through personal and professional development.
The coaching approach and relationship I follow as a thought-partner is one of mutual respect, mutual trust, and the creation of the safe space needed for free expression, confidential, and non-judgmental conversation that generate the shifts in perspectives, attitudes, and action plans needed to reshape tomorrow.
Coaching makes a difference. I welcome your call to discuss how we can work together to discover the horizons your seek for yourself, your team, or your organization and the path to get (and stay) there.
