Student Enrollment Agreement – All Programs

This Student Enrollment Agreement (the “Agreement”) forms part of the Terms and Conditions governing participation in all educational programs offered by The International Coaching Group Inc. (“the Company”). By enrolling in a program and checking the acknowledgment box during registration, you agree to the terms set out below.

1. Program Description

This Agreement applies to all educational programs offered by the Company, including but not limited to:

  • Fast Track to ICF Certification (Level 1 & 2)
  • Workshops and short courses
  • Mentor coaching programs
  • Coaching development and leadership training programs

Programs vary in length and structure. For example, the Fast Track to ICF Certification is delivered virtually via live instructor-led sessions, each 90 minutes in length, and typically runs six (6) to eight (8) months. Other programs may differ in duration or format. Specific program details will be provided at the time of registration.

2. Tuition & Payment Terms
  • Tuition is payable in full before the program start date.
  • Students on a payment plan must adhere to the agreed schedule. Failure to comply may result in suspension or removal.
  • The Company maintains a strict no refund policy, regardless of payment method, student withdrawal, or failure to complete the program.
3. Student Commitments

By enrolling, the Student agrees to:

  • Attend all scheduled sessions in full (90 minutes per class where applicable)
  • Keep their video camera on and use a functioning laptop and microphone
  • Participate actively and respectfully
  • Be fully present in a quiet, distraction-free setting

Students may miss up to two (2) sessions per module provided they:

  • View the session recording
  • Submit a Recorded Class Report for each absence to the instructor

Reports must be submitted by the final class of each module. Failure to comply may affect certification eligibility.

Students are expected to log in on time with functioning technology. Repeated lateness or technical issues may impact credit. Students may not record sessions without written consent. Trainer methods and examples are proprietary and may not be reused or distributed.

The Company may record classes, and coaching practices within classes, for training and access purposes. Sharing within classes and in coaching practices during class times are considered confidential. Recordings are shared only for learning and missed class review. Unauthorized sharing or duplication is strictly prohibited.

4. Intellectual Property

All materials, including course content, session recordings, trainer examples, and written resources, are the exclusive property of The International Coaching Group Inc.

Such materials are protected under copyright law and may not be reproduced, distributed, or shared without prior written consent. Unauthorized use of proprietary trainer content is prohibited.

5. Withdrawal, Postponement & Termination

Students may withdraw by written notice. However, no refunds will be provided under any circumstances.

Students may request a postponement due to personal or professional reasons. This request must be made in writing and is subject to approval and availability. A student may defer their participation for up to twelve (12) months from the original start date.

The Company reserves the right to require a student to withdraw if their behavior disrupts others’ learning. Trainers may address disruptive behavior and escalate issues to the program director.

Disruption includes, but is not limited to:

  • Repeated interruptions
  • Inappropriate conduct or language
  • Non-participation
  • Refusal to follow facilitator guidance
6. Certification Disclaimer

The Fast Track to ICF Certification (Level 1 & 2) is designed to prepare students for ICF credentialing. However, the Company does not guarantee:

  • That students will pass ICF certification exams
  • That students will pass internal evaluations

Certification requires adequate preparation and accumulation of experience hours by the student.

7. Dispute Resolution

All disputes under this Agreement shall be submitted to mediation in the Province of British Columbia before any further legal proceedings.

The costs of mediation shall be borne by the unsuccessful party unless otherwise agreed.

8. Program Components

Programs that include formal assessments require:

  • Level 1: One (1) Performance Evaluation
  • Level 2: Two (2) Performance Evaluations and Two (2) Assessment Labs

These assessments are mandatory for successful program completion and for fulfilling ICF certification prerequisites.

9. Mentor Coaching Requirements

For programs that include mentor coaching:

  • Mentor coaching must span at least three (3) months, as required by the ICF
  • Students must complete all sessions within six (6) months of their program start date

Failure to meet the timeline may result in forfeiture of included sessions. Students will then be required to purchase a separate mentor coaching package at an additional cost to complete this requirement.

10. Acknowledgment

By checking the acknowledgment box at registration, the Student confirms that they:

  • Have read, understood, and agreed to all terms in this Agreement
  • Consent to participate under these conditions
  • Understand this constitutes a legally binding agreement with The International Coaching Group Inc.
