Course Overview
This bundle contains two components that are required by the ICF for renewals and credentials.
An ICF Credential applicant is required to complete 10 hours of mentor coaching consisting of two components: Three or more hours of one-on-one Mentoring Coaching time with an ICF credentialed coach, PLUS a maximum of seven hours of Group Mentor Coaching.
Mentor Coaching for an ICF Credential consists of coaching and feedback in a collaborative, appreciative and dialogued process based on an observed or recorded coaching session to increase the coach’s capability in coaching, in alignment with the ICF Core Competencies.
1:1 mentor coaching
This mentoring program satisfies the one-to-one Mentoring Coaching time, for the ICF requirement of credentialing candidates on the ACC (Level 1), PCC (Level 2), or either Portfolio paths to complete before submitting their application.
Mentoring provides professional assistance in achieving and demonstrating the levels of coaching competency and capability demanded by the ACC and PCC credential levels.
Your one-on-one mentoring experience takes place over a period of six weeks. We recommend you schedule your sessions once every two weeks or less. This cycle allows you to receive feedback and integrate that feedback into practice before the next review of your coaching.
Advanced coaching skills practicum
Participants of this program will refine their coaching skills by coaching others and hearing others coach in a virtual classroom overseen and critiqued by an ICF certified professional coach. The environment fosters real-time learning for those doing the coaching and also for those who will be listening and providing later feedback on what they saw and heard in the coaching.
Prerequisites: Completion of ANY ONE of the following:
- Completion of a 60-hour or more Coaching Education Program
- 5.5.5 Coaching Skills Training Program™
- Coaching Fundamentals™
This course is offered live online in our virtual classroom or we can deliver it on-site to your organization.
