A graduate from the Saint John School of Nursing in 1986, she has worked with critically ill and emergency patients for 12 years. She continued her nursing career by graduating with a Bachelor of Nursing degree from UNB; obtained a certificate in Mental Health; has been honored with an “Excellence in Clinical Leadership” provincial recognition award and continued her nursing career in community development and working with families through VON.
Most recently, Chandra has worked with Public Health, coordinating the Healthy Learners Program in School District 10 specializing in health promotion and working with young people.Chandra now works with young people, parents and youth advocates one on one, in groups, customizing workshops and offers topics for your public speaking needs. Chandra believes that all young people seek respect, want to be listened to; need to be understood; strive to learn responsibility; yearn to be supported and seek independence.
