Sarah is a certified coach focusing on leadership, business and governance. Sarah has 13 years of rich experience leading organizations, supporting effective governance in councils and boards and executing organizational design in organizations.
Sarah is coach certified through Erickson International and credentialed through the International Coach Federation (ICF). She holds a BSc in neuroscience from the University of Lethbridge, an MSc in biomedical engineering from the University of Alberta, an MBA from Queen's University, and a certificate in Organizational Design from Queen’s University. Sarah currently serves on four boards including two regulatory boards and the ICF Edmonton Chapter board.
As a coach, Sarah serves as a catalyst to inspire action and commitment from her clients. Her approach to coaching is to be trustworthy and curious to empower her clients to create internal awareness, external discovery and learning for action and change. she supports those she partners with to build their confidence, capacity and leadership capability.
In addition to coaching, Sarah is an experienced consultant and facilitator providing leadership and governance development, strategic planning and organizational design guidance. Sarah owns Salt Catalyst Consulting and is a partner with BreakPoint Solutions. Sarah works with clients in the for-profit and non-profit sectors including: University of Calgary, College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta, College of Paramedics, Alberta Medical Association, YWCA, an Edmonton based Primary Care Network and Edmonton based business owners.
