The 6-week Business Builder Essentials for Coaches course introduces the fundamental components of launching an external coaching business and is led by ICF Certified Coaches who also have extensive business-building experience. Focusing on the start-up phase of business development, participants will learn about the Six Ps of Business Building for success: Purpose, Psychology, Preparation, Product, Process, and Presence, and will graduate with a tangible plan in place to launch their coaching practice.
All participants will also be paired with a mentor coach to help navigate the challenges of an entrepreneurial journey and help them seize new opportunities while in the start-up phase; because learning doesn’t end in the classroom! Coaching is an evolving practice and we’re here to help you every step of the way. Launch your coaching career with confidence, and a clear plan and strategies already in place for success, so you can help your clients’ find theirs.

With a 24-year career in financial services, Susan leverages her experience in Human Resources, Talent Management, Marketing, Learning and Development, Small to Mid-Market Entrepreneurship, Productivity, Mindfulness, and Disability Management to enhance this program.
Susan helps leaders and entrepreneurs break through limiting beliefs and build successful careers. With over 2000 hours of direct client coaching experience, Susan has helped hundreds of clients find their way forward to actioning transformative outcomes.
With a decade of experience running her own private practice – Authentika Consulting Inc. – as a professional certified coach and leadership trainer in Waterloo, Ontario, she knows what it takes to create a thriving business. She understands that strategy, focus, and self-awareness are fueled by a growth mindset.
When not helping clients launch their small business, she works with leaders in the public and private sectors to identify goals and harness methods for attaining their personal and professional potential.
She is an alumnus of Wilfrid Laurier University and holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology degree. Susan is a Registered Psychotherapist (Q) in the province of Ontario.
Additionally, Susan is a member in good standing with the International Coach Federation and holds certifications as a professional certified coach (PCC) and as a Vedic Educator, certified to teach Ayurveda, Meditation, and Yoga from the Chopra Center for Well-Being in California. She is an internationally accredited advanced assessment practitioner and evidence-based coach. She also holds the Certified Employee Benefits Specialist Designation.
Additionally, she is a Certified Diversity Coach, a mentor coach and coach faculty for the International Coaching Group, a Certified Virtual Presenter and a former TV Talk Show and Radio Show host.
