Dian is the Principal of Directed Potential Coaching and Training, a company that exists to help individuals and organizations create potent, courageous, relevant change.  Blending her passion, skill and intuition, Dian trains and coaches an international clientele, offering personal support as they hone their abilities and advance their personal and professional lives. 

Dian led BC Housing’s corporate coaching initiative that won the prestigious 2011 ICF International Prism award which honours organizations who embrace coaching as an integral part of their leadership strategy. She is also completing her Master Coach Designation – the most rigorous in the coaching profession. 

Her extensive professional experience includes client coaching, executive leadership training and curriculum design with partners such as the Justice Institute of British Columbia and Knightsbridge.  She is currently the Director of Leadership & Learning for a government commission with over 600 employees on Canada’s west coast.  

Dian’s private practice targets a niche market of individuals over forty, coaching them to find the courage to embed strategies for success and create powerful change in their personal and professional lives. Dian has trained and coached in the disadvantaged Downtown East Side of Vancouver and currently does coaching skills training for various Aboriginal projects in British Columbia, helping each group create its own unique coaching culture. 

As an active fundraiser for breast cancer, Dian has participated in events such as the Avon 3-day, a 60-mile walk, and the 40-mile Weekend to End Breast Cancer walk in pursuit of the cure.   

Personally and professionally, Dian is known as playful and provocative. She shares her home with Chula, a mutant Chihuahua who takes the job of running Dian’s life very seriously. When not enmeshed in her passion for coaching and training, she enjoys a rich, robust circle of friends, a good wine and a great laugh.
