Laura is a Certified Executive Coach (CEC), who has achieved the Professional Certified Coach (PCC) designation through the International Coaching Federation. Her coaching experience includes for-profit, government and non-profit leaders for local, regional and national organizations, spanning executive to front-line supervisors.

As the creator of the Leadership Plus program, Laura works with clients to custom-make the experience to industry specific needs. Topics range from the fundamentals of leadership to more advanced concepts. Each module contains a practical exercise to allow leaders to extrapolate their learning into the workplace. The unique train-the-trainer component allows organizations to continue the training once the initial workshops are complete.

Laura has developed and/or delivered a variety of other workshops for organizations including: Strategic planning and management; conducting performance coaching meetings; internal/external customer service training, career search and research; succession planning, the essentials of business for front line workers, staff meetings, and recruitment, interviewing & selection. Laura presents on a variety of topics to business professionals both locally and provincially

Prior to becoming a facilitator and certified coach, Laura created the human resource department for a mid-size, national company and participated as a board member in for profit, professional and non-profit board. She has worked in privately owned and publicly traded organizations as well as co-operatives.

Laura is a graduate from University of Winnipeg, University of Manitoba, the Executive Development program at The Wharton School of Management (University of Pennsylvania), as well as Royal Roads University.  She is certified to debrief clients on EQi 2.0 ^TM and EQ360.
