CATHY GRETZINGER

Cathy  Gretzinger is a certified executive coach who works with leaders as a trusted thinking partner to generate confidence in decision-making and action planning. With over 25 years of Gov’t of Alberta leadership experience and 15 years of Executive Coaching experience, Cathy believes that the leadership tool and skills of coaching can empower leaders [at all levels] to better equip themselves and their staff. As well as create a more positive, supportive, and inclusive work culture by adding a coach approach into their leadership toolbox. Her intention as a confidential thinking partner is to support and champion those she works with, to help them talk about what is hard and find their own best solutions to problems and challenges that they face.  What excites her is partnering with leaders to maximize their personal and professional potential. Supporting, listening, and encouraging are strong characteristics that Cathy possesses and are essential in her ability to build positive interpersonal relationships with her coaching clientsSince completing the Royal Roads Executive Coaching Program as a Certified Executive Coach, she has also attained Professional Certified Coach (PCC) accreditation with both the International Coach Federation (ICF) and the Edmonton Association of Professional Coaches (EAPC). As well she is an ICF Certified Mentor Coach. In her role as a professional Mentor Coach, she works with other coaches to encourage and develop their coaching competencies.

She has considerable experience working with teams and groups and has an innate ability to create a safe and trusted space for all individuals to be heard and valued. Cathy is also a certified Core Strengths Facilitator and uses the SDI assessment tool in her coaching relationships to assist her clients in self-awareness and understanding of their motivational values/conflict sequences and leadership strengths.
