Dale has received the Associate Certified Coach (ACC) designation through the International Coach Federation. He completed a Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching (Royal Roads University), a Masters in Business Administration (Athabasca University), and a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and a Certificate in Healthcare Administration (University of Saskatchewan).
As a coach Dale is professional and supportive. He has a casual style and good sense of humor. He is committed to supporting his clients to carve out dedicated and facilitated thinking time. His goal is to enable, inspire, and assist clients to discover purpose, define a clear vision and design actions. A people person, Dale has a reputation as a strong communicator, collaborator and consensus builder. He has brought these skills to internal and external teams, committees and boards at the local, provincial, and national level. The combination of his education and experience allows Dale to empathize and develop rapport and trust with individuals at any level of an organization in multiple situations. Dale’s clients have included experienced CEO/leaders/managers and individuals transitioning to or new to leadership.
Dale has over 25 years of leadership experience including positions in front line and regional management in the health system. He served as Deputy Registrar of the Alberta College of Pharmacists and Acting Registrar of the College of Regulated Dental Hygienists of Alberta. Experience as a regulator and a manager has provided Dale with a wealth of experience in leadership; management; human resources; policy and program development/evaluation; strategic planning; governance; stakeholder and government relations; coaching; and facilitation.
In addition to being a licensed trainer for the Coaching Out of the Box® 5/5/5 Coach Skills Training Program® Dale is an MBTI® Certified Practitioner.
