Kay is a humour loving international corporate coach, strategic management consultant and talent management professional. Kay brings over 20 years of varied coaching, consulting, management and educator experience. She is sought after as a coach, workshop leader and OD professional. She is co-author of No Winner Ever Got There Without a Coach. She is also the author of: Human Resource Managers Guide to Organization Development and various articles and other publications.
Kay holds certificates in management, quality improvement and alternative dispute resolution. She has a B.Sc. in Education, an M.Sc. in Epidemiology and a Doctorate in Adult Education with a specialty in Change Management and Organization Development. Kay is a Professional Certified Coach (P.C.C.) with the International Coaches Federation and is known affectionately as “Dr. Kay” by her coachees. She is used in the corporate world as a coach, talent manager, strategic planning process facilitator, and organization effectiveness manager. She has qualifications in Myers-Briggs Typology, Personal Strengths (SDI), Performance Indices and is a qualified trainer for various programs – Covey, Zenger, Inside-Out Coaching, for example. She has over 20 years experience working in both the public and private sector.
In her spare time, Kay likes to spend time with her husband Ulf relaxing at their Florida home. Now retired, she likes to paint watercolour landscapes (www.artbykay.ca) and play bridge. She is a life coach with the “Up With Women” organization in Toronto and works hard to support homeless women through coaching. She loves reading mysteries and watching old movies, especially Fred Astaire musicals with plenty of singing and dancing. She is a lifetime member of the International-Save-the-Pun Foundation.
