Tenora Grigsby

Tenora Grigsby, Ph.D is president and founder of TDG, Inc a leadership and employee development company located in Portland, OR. She has helped individuals at all levels of the organization gain the professional and managerial skills needed to achieve both personal and professional goals. She is an experienced manager, coach, facilitator and trainer with knowledge and expertise in the design, delivery and implementation of management, leadership and team development programs covering such areas as performance appraisal, performance management, change management, negotiation and influence, coaching and team building, to name a few. Tenora currently serves as an adjunct faculty member for the School of Business at Portland State University, Portland, OR. 

Tenora’s career includes serving as Manager of Worldwide Professional Development for Mentor Graphics Corporation, a high technology company. There she gained experience working with international audiences designing and facilitating personal and professional development programs in Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. Prior to this Tenora had a 22 year career in banking with U.S. Bank where she held various management positions in both the retail and commercial banking groups. She ended her banking career as a Vice President in the Commercial Banking Division. 

Some of the organizations Tenora has worked with during her twenty year consulting and training career are U.S. Bancorp, Xerox Corporation, Amgen, SAIF Corporation, Intermec, Key Bank, Microsoft, Intel, PacifiCorp, NW Pipe, Providence Health Systems, Gen Pro, sanofi-Aventis, Multnomah County Health Department , Health Services Northwest, Glaxco Smith Kline Pharmaceuticals and the Washington State Migrant Council . 

Tenora earned her doctorate and masters degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Portland State University. She is also a graduate of the College of Executive Coaching, Santa Barbara, CA and the Northwest Intermediate Banking School, Lewis and Clark College, Portland, OR.
