Welcome to ACC Credential Exam Prep (ACE) part of the Application Series for ACC Applicants.
We’re excited to have you join us for the ACE Program, designed to help you strengthen your coaching skills and deepen your understanding of professional coaching practices. In this course, you’ll engage with a variety of real-life coaching scenarios and situations, each crafted to test and validate your ability to apply the ICF Core Competencies effectively.
You’ll also have the chance to take a practice exam, providing you with insight into the ICF Credential Exam format and helping you gauge your readiness.
Please note: participation in this course does not guarantee a passing result on the ICF Credential Exam.

If you are taking this program as a stand-alone course, you will receive an individual certificate of completion once you have successfully met all course requirements.

Our Goal for This Course
The primary objective of the ACE course is to ensure you can apply the eight ICF Core Competencies in real-world coaching situations, in alignment with how the ICF evaluates professional coaching performance.
Here’s what you can expect each week:
You’ll explore weekly scenarios, each linked to a specific ICF Core Competency.
We’ll review and discuss multiple possible responses, examining which best reflects professional coaching standards.
One scenario each week will mirror the ICF Exam format—you will not be told which competency is being assessed and must identify the best course of action.
Group discussions will help you understand the ICF’s rationale and approach to evaluating coaching responses.
You’ll also be encouraged to reflect on your own answers and thought process.
