Welcome to the Coaching Fundamentals Program where you’ll learn practical skills to help you advance your coaching career.
As a reminder, if you are taking this program as part of the Fast Track to ICF Credential, you will receive a graduation certificate at the very end of the last course in the series along with a badge to display that certifies you as a Coaching Out of the Box® Certified Graduate Coach.
If you are taking this course as a stand-alone program, you will receive an individual certificate two weeks after successfully completing the program. At any point, if you have any questions about certification or other programs we offer, please reach out to us for more information. Curriculum Overview
Week 1 | Introduce the ICF-defined standards for the profession. |
Week 2 | Concepts & language of Coaching Mindset and Establishes Coaching Agreement. |
Week 3 | Concept of partnering as a vital part of the coaching exchange. |
Week 4 | Self-discover what you are doing well today to Maintain Presence and identify areas of focus to develop. |
Week 5 | Build on the value of listening established in 5.5.5 and share/practice/discuss tips and techniques to hone the skill. |
Week 6 | Make the distinction that Evoke Awareness has two fundamental parts: Questioning and Direct Communication. |
Week 7 | Share tips for action planning while setting up fieldwork to practice self-assessing and providing feedback on a coaching exchange. |
Week 8 | Review key concepts from day 1 to 7. Clear up and questions. |
Week 9 | Live Practicum. Coaches receive feedback from the Coach-Facilitator on how the coach demonstrates/not demonstrates the ICF Core Competencies. |
Week 10 | Live Practicum. Coaches receive feedback from the Coach-Facilitator on how the coach demonstrates/not demonstrates the ICF Core Competencies. |
