An ICF Credential applicant is required to complete 10 hours of mentor coaching consisting of two components: Three or more hours of one-on-one Mentoring Coaching with an ICF credentialed coach, PLUS a maximum of seven hours of Group Mentor Coaching.
This mentoring program satisfies the first component, the 1:1 Mentoring Coaching, for the ICF requirement of credentialing candidates on the ACC(Level 1), PCC(Level 2), or either Portfolio paths to complete prior to submitting their application.
Coaching Out of the Box® has you covered for the second competent as well. Our Advanced Coaching Skills Practicum is the program to enroll in if you need seven additional hours of group mentor coaching provided by an ICF-credentialed coach.
Your one-on-one mentoring experience takes place over a period of six weeks. We recommend you schedule your sessions once every two weeks or less. This cycle allows you to receive feedback and integrate that feedback into practice before the next review of your coaching.
