Course Descriptions

The Professional Level adds the following modules for your development:
(Toggle down on each course to read more)

This module is part of the Mentoring Program and provides two opportunities to submit transcripts from recent coaching sessions for individualized written feedback. Each transcript is reviewed and evaluated against the ICF Core Competencies and the minimum skill requirements for PCC-level performance.

You’ll receive detailed feedback highlighting your strengths and identifying specific areas for growth to help you consistently coach at the PCC level. This insight will be essential in shaping your learning objectives and guiding your development throughout the rest of the program.

Making the shift from Associate to Professional level coaching involves deep personal exploration and development. In this program, you step into the role of the client, working with a credentialed ICF coach (PCC or MCC) to experience transformative coaching first-hand.

This is a unique opportunity to grow through being coached—deepening your self-awareness, expanding your capacity as a coach, and aligning your personal journey with professional excellence. After all, as coaches, we must also walk the talk.

The Professional Coach: Building the Foundation for PCC-Level Coaching

This course is designed for coaches who are ready to elevate their skills and embody the presence, competence, and mindset of a true professional. The Professional Coach is the foundational course in our PCC-level training pathway, providing the structure, feedback, and practice needed to coach with greater independence, confidence, and impact.

Throughout this program, student-coaches are introduced to the minimum performance standards required to coach at the Professional Certified Coach (PCC) level, as defined by the ICF. Each module integrates deep learning of the ICF Core Competencies with opportunities for practice and reflection, helping coaches internalize what it means to consistently demonstrate a higher standard of coaching.

The Professional Coach Series Has the Following Components

    1. PRE-WORK – Complete before each class to learn the concepts to be discussed in class.
    2. ZOOM CLASS – Used to further refine understanding of the competencies using a PCC lens.
    3. ADVANCE LAB PROJECT – A 12 week exercise that models setting up a coaching business.
    4. ADVANCED LAB ZOOM CLASS – Used to workshop (not always practice) the demonstration of each competency.
    5. FIELDWORK – Used to reinforce learning and reflective practice. Provide additional handouts and tools. Assigns coaching practice and self-evaluation of sessions. (This is where the real learning is done)
    6. COACHING PRACTICE – It is expected you coach AT LEAST TWO real clients each week and record one or both sessions for self-evaluation.

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Apply the ICF Core Competencies with increased depth and agility
  • Demonstrate coaching presence and relational skill at a professional level
  • Deliver coaching sessions that meet or exceed PCC minimum skill requirements
  • Work more independently and effectively with diverse client needs and goals

Format: Live online training via Zoom, supported by practice labs, mentoring, and coaching demonstrations.
Who it’s for: Coaches working toward their PCC credential or committed to advancing their skillset beyond the ACC level.

Coaching is a true art form. Like any artist, a coach must bring more than inspiration and technique—they must bring their full, authentic self to each conversation. Mastering presence, integrity, and authenticity is essential to coaching at a professional level.

This course focuses on “who” you are being as a coach and invites you to deepen your capacity to coach with empathy, emotional intelligence, and genuine connection. From setting strong agreements and building trust to navigating difficult emotions and embodying a judgment-free presence, you’ll develop the foundational mindset and skills that distinguish truly impactful coaches.

This is a live, interactive learning experience delivered online via Zoom.

This program offers coaches a unique opportunity to examine the inner blocks that often mirror the challenges their clients face—such as feeling stuck, self-critical, or disengaged. These experiences are not only present in the coachee but can also live within the coach.

By bringing awareness to these personal patterns, coaches are supported in moving through their own limitations and evolving how they show up in their coaching relationships. The result is greater authenticity, presence, and impact with clients.

Delivery: Live and interactive via Zoom.

In this interactive program, participants will sharpen their coaching skills through live practice sessions—both by coaching and observing peers—within a supportive virtual classroom. Each session is facilitated by an ICF-credentialed coach who provides targeted feedback aligned with the ICF Core Competencies.

This program fulfills up to seven hours of group mentor coaching, meeting the ICF requirement for credentialing. Coaches will gain valuable insights into their strengths and areas for growth while deepening their ability to coach at a professional standard.

Format: Live online sessions via Zoom.

This one-on-one mentoring experience provides personalized, real-time feedback from an ICF-certified coach to support your growth toward PCC-level coaching. Conducted live online via Zoom, each session focuses on your ability to demonstrate the ICF Core Competencies through either a live coaching session or a submitted recording.

Together with your mentor, you’ll review your coaching, identify strengths and opportunities for development, and deepen your understanding of what it means to coach at a professional level.

This program meets the ICF requirement of a minimum of three one-on-one mentor coaching hours, delivered over a period of at least three months. All feedback is grounded in the ICF Core Competencies.

Before applying for an ICF credential, you must achieve a PASS on a formal Performance Evaluation. This evaluation is conducted by a qualified ICF Assessor who reviews a recording of a coaching session with a real client. A PASS is awarded only when the recording clearly demonstrates the ICF’s Minimum Skills Requirements for the credential level being pursued.

This self-paced course is designed to guide you through the entire process—from understanding the ICF evaluation criteria to successfully preparing and submitting your recording. You’ll learn how to structure your coaching session, receive tips on making a strong recording, explore real examples of successful submissions, and complete guided self-assessments to evaluate your readiness.

  • ACC applicants must submit one recording
  • PCC applicants must submit two recordings

This course also walks you through the official ICF submission process to ensure you’re fully prepared for success.

Once you have officially received a PASS on your Performance Evaluation and successfully completed the required One-to-One Mentor Coaching, you will be awarded your Level 2 Complete certificate and designation.

However, please note that this does not yet make you eligible to apply for your ICF PCC credential. In addition to completing Level 2, you must also meet the ICF requirement of 500 hours of coaching experience, with all hours taking place on or after the start of your formal coach training.

If you’re reading this before finishing Level 2, now is the time to recognize how important it is to build your coaching experience hours in parallel with your training. Staying proactive in this area will ensure you’re fully prepared to apply for your credential as soon as all requirements are met.

    • Every even-numbered week, you’ll have one 90-minute Zoom class.
